Doug Spingola, PA-C

Douglas Spingola is certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. PA Spingola specializes in sports medicine and orthopaedics. He attended Lock Haven University where he received a Master's Degree in Health Sciences/Physician Assistant Studies. Since 2001, PA Spingola has been a valuable member of the MMI staff. Most recently, he has been working with Dr. James Steinberg who specializes in sports medicine, total joint replacement, and general orthopaedics.

His athletic experiences as a player and coach at one of Pennsylvania's perennial high school football powers, as well as being a highly recruited baseball player are valuable assets in his clinical practice.

PA Spingola is affiliated in many professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery, Maryland Society of Physician Assistants and is a volunteer for the State of Maryland Emergency/ Disaster Relief Task Force.
